Danish documentary from 2015

Herbert Pundik, former editor-in-chief of Politiken (Jew, Dane and Israeli) talks about his eventful life and his view on the state of Israel.

Pundik reports the violent division that has risen between the Orthodox and the secular Jews in Israel, a conflict which is reflected in his relationship with the country’s two major cities, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

In the film, he emphasizes not only on his critical attitude in relation to Israel’s policy towards the Palestinians, but also criticizes Europe’s overly hesitant policy.

The documentary premiered at “Politikens Hus” in conjunction with a debate with Herbert Pundik and Anders Jerichow.
