Nicolai Würtz becomes new Head of Programming at STV Production and joins the company’s program management division. He comes from a position as creative director at Nordisk Film TV.

The production company STV strengthens its program management division and creative profile with the addition of Nicolai Würtz, who will take over as Head of Programming on April 1st. Nicolai Würtz is tasked with strengthening the daily program operations and contributing with his many years of experience to the company’s idea development and sales, nationally and internationally.

It is not without reason that Nicolai is both well-liked and respected in the entire industry, and together with Nicolai we will be even better equipped to strengthen STV’s future. I am very much looking forward to the collaboration. ” says program director Jonathan Jerichow.

44-year-old Nicolai Würtz has since 2014 been employed by Nordisk Film TV, where he has helped create “Alle mod 1” and the Kim Larsen memorial concert for DR1, both of which won the TV Prize. Nicolai was also involved in TV 2s “Knæk Cancer” fundraising and a large number of lifestyle and fact productions as first editor-in-chief and producer and later as head of development and sales. Now he is ready to enter the position as Head of Programming at STV:

Nicolai Würtz will be part of STV’s program management division, which consists of program director Jonatan Jerichow, creative director Birgitte Koefoed and deputy managing director Daniel Svarts.

Program director Jonatan Jerichow elaborates “Nicolai’s professionalism is wide-ranging, he has extensive experience with e.g. event and entertainment productions, and he will contribute with new thoughts and ideas to the program business and our strategic work ”.

On the daily basis, Nicolai Würtz will report to program director Jonatan Jerichow.
