After the summer holidays, journalist Nils Bomann will start as a producer in STV’s program group, with a special focus on factual and documentary programs.
Nils Bomann comes from a position as editor in TV 2’s Documentary and Current Affairs department, where he is behind successes such as ‘Rejseholdet: the hunt for a killer’ and ‘The Thule mystery: the woman who disappeared’. In addition, Nils Bomann has extensive experience in the production of factual shows, including a number of years as an editor at Kriminalmagasinet Station 2.
“We are very happy to welcome Nils into the STV family. Crime and Documentary has become an increasingly important part of STV’s portfolio. With Nils, not only do we get a very competent journalist but also a man with a solid network of contacts throughout the country, and experience in both developing programs and in leading editorial offices. In addition, it’s always nice to have another Fynbo. Nils will share his time between the Odense and Copenhagen offices” – says program Director Maria Thastum.
“I am very much looking forward to throwing myself into the promising projects that STV already has in the pipeline, and to developing new program series with my future colleagues. It is a unique opportunity and exciting challenge that I could not say no to,” – says Nils Bomann.
Nils will report on a daily basis to program manager Jonatan Jerichow. STV is Denmark’s largest independent TV production company. STV has subsidiaries in Norway and Sweden.
